The Turkey Hill Experience

10.07.2013

We visited the Turkey Hill Experience last summer. Our little girl was two and she had a ton of fun, as did our three-year-old nephew. There were some things that were big hits - like the ball pit, (faux) cow milking, and "driving" the truck. She also loved going in and out of the giant "freezer" that they have because the doors opened like magic! My nephew loved "making" ice cream - basically and electronic bucket that you use to add flavors to ice cream in an electronic vat. There were definitely activities that were geared toward older kids too, for example you could create and star in your own Turkey Hill commercial and post it on Facebook.

Since we visited, the Turkey Hill Experience has also added a "Taste Lab" where you add flavoring and mix-ins to vanilla ice cream, followed by your favorite toppings. This activity is an additional $4 per participant and children must be over four-years-old. It also requires advance reservations, so you'll have to plan ahead, but it sounds like a lot of fun!

Turkey Hill recommends two hours for the experience (although you may want to schedule more time if you're participating in the Taste Lab), and we'd agree that that's about spot on (depending on your kid of course). Tickets are as follows:

Regular (ages 18-61): $9.95
Junior (ages 5-17): $7.95
Senior (ages 62+): $8.95
Children (ages 4 and under): Free

In addition to the Turkey Hill Experience, the venue also offers some fun events and activities, like build your own scarecrow, pumpkin painting, and trick or treat  - check out our calendar for more information!
